The short version: all sales are final, but size exchanges are available within 14 days of delivery — and if your order arrives wrong, damaged, or defective, we'll always make it right.
Returns
All sales are final. We accept returns only if you received the wrong item, or if your item arrived damaged or defective.
Exchanges
If your item doesn't fit, you may request an exchange within 14 days of delivery. Exchanges are limited to one per customer every 90 days and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
To be eligible, items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged — items showing wear or washing can't be accepted. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Exchanged items are inspected when they arrive back to us. Approved exchanges are eligible for either:
- Item exchange (a new size)
- Store credit
To start an exchange, email hello@koibitoclothing.com within 14 days of delivery with the subject line "Exchange - Your Name". Include your order number and the size you'd like instead.
Not sure on size? Our Size Guide has detailed charts for every garment — please go by our charts rather than your usual size in other brands.
Wrong, Damaged, or Defective Items
If we sent the wrong item, or your item arrived with a manufacturing defect or damage, let us know within 14 days of delivery. Email hello@koibitoclothing.com with the subject line "Return - Your Name", your order number, photos of the issue, and any other details you have.
You'll receive a confirmation email, and once we complete a quick review we'll send you instructions for returning your item. Verified issues are eligible for either:
- Full refund
- Store credit
- Item exchange
Order Changes & Cancellations
Order changes or cancellations can be made within 24 hours of purchase and before fulfillment begins. Because every item is made to order, we can't guarantee a cancellation once an order is placed — email us as soon as possible and we'll do our best.
